"out there" and that a large number of directories, search engines
and listings will link to you. Although these submissions can also
cater for the 14 most prominent international search engines and 6
directories, it is
preferred to register to these important search engines in a more
specialised way.
A submission report will be
emailed to you.
The cost for the "Basic Web
Site Submissions" is R500 once off with the option to take the "Ongoing
Basic Web Site Submissions".
3. Ongoing Basic Web
Site Submissions
This "Ongoing Basic Web Site Submissions" ensure that your web site's URL is
"out there". We recommend monthly re-submissions to all
these search engines and directories. It is important to note that
most of these search engines and directories have rules to prevent
"over submission" or spamming with the resulted penalty such as
dropping from the search engine. We use specialised software that
keeps track of all submissions and evaluate the submission frequency
limitations when submitting.
Submission reports will be
emailed to you.
The cost for the "Ongoing
Basic Web Site Submissions" is R1000 per year which excludes the first month
"Basic Web Site Submissions". (This option can not be taken
without the "Basic Web Site Submissions" package.)
4. Specialised Web Site
Submissions
After ensuring that your web site's URL is "out there" the next
step is to position your web site for certain search phrases in the most
prominent international search engines. This is achieved by building
an "entry page" for each search phrase/keyword and search engine.
E.g. if you require 5 search phrases to be optimized for the 14 search engines,
we build and optimize 70 "entry pages" for your web site.
These pages are additional to the original web pages of your web site. We
require FTP access to your web site for uploading of the "entry
pages". (Alternatively we will email the "entry pages"
to you/your web master to upload to the server. This option is not preferred
because it complicate the submission process which can only be done once the
"entry pages" are uploaded to the server.)
We research the relevancy and
importance of the most prominent search engines to ensure that you get the
best exposure. As on 15 January 2001 the following search engines are
part of this package: AltaVista, AOL Search, Direct Hit, Excite, Fast/All The Web, Google, Goto.com, HotBot,
InfoSeek/Go Network, IWon, Lycos, MSN, WebCrawler and Yahoo Web Pages.
The once-off cost for the "Specialised
Web Site Submissions" is R1000 per search phrase for the 14 search
engines in total. (Thus 5 keyword phrases cost
R5000).
5. Ongoing Specialised
Web Site Submission
Once top positions on the prominent search engines are obtained, it is
important to keep these positions. This is done by re-optimizing and
re-submitting the "entry pages" to these search engines when
required. Search engines change their rules and algorithms and it is important
to take note of these changes to ensure that top positions are being
kept. FTP access to your web site is required for this package.
The cost for "Ongoing
Specialised Web Site Submissions" is R1000 per year per search phrase
for the 14 search engines.

submission to Directories

NCBi, Netscape, Open Directory and Yahoo Web Sites. (Remember that
there is usually only one chance to submit to the directories and that this
should be done carefully.)

submission to Directories" is R300 per directory. (Some
directories also charges a "submission fee". These fees will
be added to the quotation for your perusal and acceptance prior to any work
done by us.)

African Search Engines

African search engines as South Africans also use these engines to locate
true South African web sites. We recommend that the web site be
